NIZIO GALLERY

The Nizio Gallery was established in 2002 in a tenement house at 3 Inżynierska Street in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district. It was founded by Mirosław Nizio, an architect and owner of Nizio Design International, an architectural studio operating in the same building, and the Nizio Foundation. Mirosław Nizio, as an artist famous for his designs of public spaces: museums, historical exhibitions, art exhibitions, memorials, scenography, has set himself the goal of creating a space for the exchange of ideas triggered around art, culture, architecture and pro-social activities.

The Nizio Gallery presents contemporary art. Curators working with the Gallery organize painting, photography, design and applied arts exhibitions. The multiplicity of curatorial approaches enables a dialogue with diverse creative communities, and in the framework of intergenerational exchange and the presentation of different creative practices, universal values in art are made visible.

The Gallery organizes events to present the artistic achievements of contemporary artists, including the young ones, thus initiating and supporting activities aimed at the development and popularization of culture.
